Simple AD-GR Installation

How to install GNURADIO for development with an Analog Devices development kit.

First, install all dependencies. For this, I am using apt-get. Chances are that you will run into an issue installing libboost1.48-all-dev. If so, please use sudo apt-get install aptitude and then search for the package using sudo aptitude search libboost and use the name from the first package in the place of the offending apt-get package name.

sudo apt-get -y install git-core autoconf automake libtool g++ python-dev swig \ pkg-config libboost1.48-all-dev libfftw3-dev libcppunit-dev libgsl0-dev \ libusb-dev sdcc libsdl1.2-dev python-wxgtk2.8 python-numpy \ python-cheetah python-lxml doxygen python-qt4 python-qwt5-qt4 libxi-dev \ libqt4-opengl-dev libqwt5-qt4-dev libfontconfig1-dev libxrender-dev cmake

Afterwards, please then download the source for Analog Device's github.

git clone https://github.com/analogdevicesinc/gnuradio.git
Next, build the source.
mkdir gnuradio/build && cd gnuradio/build cmake -DCMAKE_BUILD_TYPE:string=Release -DENABLE_DOXYGEN:bool=false .. make -j2 sudo make install
